June 15, 2024: Paddle the Kennebec with NRCM

    The trip cost $20 per person for nonmembers and was limited to 25 people. This trip was suitable for beginner paddlers.

    NRCM staff and guests did an 8-mile paddle on the Kennebec River from Skowhegan to Hinckley. Registered Maine Guide Richard Behr accompanied guests on this paddling trip, where paddlers learned more about the Kennebec River, including its diversity of wildlife and current river restoration opportunities.
