NRCM member Michael Walsh of Northfield, New Jersey, has shared some beautiful photos of Acadia National Park with us over the years. We thought that, as the first My Maine This Week post of the New Year, his photo of a sunrise over Cadillac Mountain was the perfect way to kick off the New Year!
Did you know that during much of the year, the first place in the United States to see the sunrise is atop Cadillac Mountain? You have to get up pretty early to get to the top to see the sun rise, but trust us, it is worth it!
