“I love Maine because you never know what you are going to see wildlife wise anywhere you go. So I always bring my camera. Some friends decided to go on the Kennebec River on a party boat. It was a beautiful afternoon last July with a clear blue sky and the river was fairly calm. We put in at Richmond and headed to Hallowell to grab some lunch. Suddenly we noticed just how many eagles you could spot from the river. It was amazing! One posed on a rock for me although taking a clear shot with a rocking boat is not all that easy.” Photo by Sharon Houle of Waterville, Maine
