This time of year, it is common to see fog rising up from Maine’s waterways. NRCM member Barbara Heap of Readfield, Maine, shares her beautiful photo of fog rising out of Kidney Pond at Baxter State Park. There was fog, but be sure to see the gorgeous reflection of the trees amongst the fog on the right of this photo.
Do you have photos of seasmoke or fog rising from Maine’s rivers, lakes, and streams? We would love to see them and share them as a My Maine This Week feature. Send them to nrcm@nrcm.org and you may be our next featured photographer.
