These photos aren’t what Baxter State Park looks like today, but we love these views of Katahdin, taken a few months ago by NRCM member Peter Simmons of Brunswick, Maine.
The first two photos are of Mount Katahdin, Maine’s tallest mountain, located in Baxter State Park. The view is from the Abol Stream Trail. The third photo is of a logging road in T1-R9, part of Maine’s Unorganized Territory.
Do you have photos of Katahdin that you would like to share? If so, please send them to us in high resolution by emailing them to nrcm@nrcm.org.
