Now that the winter weather is easing up a bit, some people are seeing more wildlife as they venture out near their homes or favorite spots around Maine.
This week, longtime NRCM member and frequent My Maine This Week photographer Callie Wronker of Jefferson and Portland, Maine, shares two photos she took of a Brown Creeper. She writes, “The Brown Creeper is a bird I see a few times once every two or three years, so it’s always a treat when they reappear.”
Are you seeing any Maine wildlife that you haven’t seen all winter? If so, please share your photos with us by sending your high-res photos to nrcm@nrcm.org.
With spring arriving on Saturday, are you seeing signs of spring near you?
