Maine Environment Spring/Summer 2021: What’s Inside!
In this issue of Maine Environment, we feature a story about our work to restore the Kennebec River above Waterville. Four dams above Waterville, owned by the international energy giant Brookfield Renewable Partners, stand in the way of a free and healthy Kennebec, blocking access to many miles of historic spawning and rearing habitat.
In this issue you can also read about our new digital outreach work to help make it easier for Mainers and others to get involved in protecting our clean water, clean air, and protecting our forests and wildlife.
This issue also includes our 2021 Explore Maine publication, full of great places to explore, books by NRCM supporters, music, art, & poetry, and more.
