Crystal Spring Farm
Location: Brunswick, Cumberland County. From downtown Brunswick, take Maine St. past Bowdoin College and then right onto Pleasant Hill Rd. Parking for visitors to the farm is located on the left near the top of the rise about a mile out Pleasant Hill Rd.
Description: The Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust owns Crystal Spring Farm, which is a 320-acre actively farmed property that includes fields, woods, and trails. The trails are open to the public for hiking and cross-country skiing. The Land for Maine’s Future program supported protection of Crystal Spring Farm in 2007.
Tip: In the warm months, there is a sizable and popular farmer’s market held here every Saturday morning, which is a favorite among residents in the surrounding communities.
