Todd Garth, Interim Executive Director
Todd is a career nonprofit professional with 30 years’ experience in international development and humanitarian affairs at globally federated international nonprofits. He is a collaborator adept at providing strategic leadership, direction, and operations management to ensure high-quality programs, improved resources, and catalytic partnerships for effective advocacy.
Todd previously served as Vice President of Strategic Programming and Sponsorship Effectiveness at World Vision US, Regional Director for South Asia, and Associate Director of International Program Advocacy at Habitat for Humanity International, among others. He has lived or worked in more than sixty countries, including in Pakistan, Honduras, India, and Haiti. Todd lives in Pemaquid, where he and his wife apprenticed together at the Carpenter’s Boat Shop, and where he currently serves as a Board member. Todd holds a B.A. from Hope College and has further graduate and executive level coursework at Southern New Hampshire University, Harvard Business School Executive Education, Indiana University’s Fundraising School, Wesley Theological Seminary, and American University. In his spare time, Todd enjoys traveling, boating, hiking, and fishing. His most memorable wilderness trips include canoeing in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, trekking in the Karakoram, Hindu Kush, and Himalaya, backpacking in Denali National Park, and climbing Mount Katahdin.
