Ella D. Tabasky, Membership & Partnerships Manager
Ella is a seasoned fundraising professional with a robust background in cultivating meaningful relationships with donors, stakeholders, and community partners. Most recently, she served as the Director of Special Initiatives at the Natural Resources Defense Council in Los Angeles, where she played a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives and enhancing donor engagement. Ella’s childhood began on the North Shore of Massachusetts, but she spent her adolescence in the Florida Keys, where her love of nature solidified. A dedicated environmental activist, Ella has been on the frontlines with water protectors at Standing Rock, individuals fighting neighborhood oil drilling in Los Angeles, and with communities in the Porter Ranch community who were poisoned by So Cal Gas Company during the largest methane gas leak in US history. A recent transplant to Maine, Ella relocated from Los Angeles with her husband, a multi-generational Mainer. She is a longstanding volunteer with the Wabanaki Alliance and serves on the Board of Directors of JustME for JustUS, an organization dedicated to rural youth climate organizing. She is eager to apply her skills and experience to strengthen NRCM’s membership base and build new partnerships that will keep the organization strong for another 65 years!
