NRCM staff and Alpine plant expert Glen Mittelhauser from the Maine Natural History Observatory led this guided hike at Saddleback. Glen quite literally wrote the book on the plants of Baxter State Park (and others) and is a wonderful teacher and guide. Please note this is a fairly rugged hike (1,620 feet in elevation gain).
