Happy Earth Day!
NRCM member Gerry Monteux of Hancock, Maine, shares two of his stunning wildlife photos with us this week and writes, “My friend, who’s a huge bird freak, invited me to join him last May for what he thought would be a pretty big day. It turned out to be an actual ‘Big Day’! Here’s just one of about a dozen different species I photographed from that one morning in Winter Harbor: the Northern Parula.”
And he also shares his photo of two fox kits in Sullivan, Maine, and writes, “Spring just isn’t spring without my annual communion with Red Fox kits. These two could not have been more cooperative, and to this day I thank them from the bottom of my heart!”
