NRCM supporter Laura Pope of Eliot, Maine, shares this photo from a walk she took on the Timber Trail in Biddeford Pool. At low tide, you can walk the jetty and go out to explore Timber Island.
Laura writes, “We feel this is one of the most beautiful walks we’ve taken as walkers will see a vast marsh at the trailhead, then pass through a cattail marsh (with a tidewater farm in the distance), then through woods to the famed Ewing House on Timber Point and then onto the jetty and island with fabulous views of the sea.”
