NRCM member and Critter Chatter blogger Jayne Winters of South China, Maine, shares some photos she has taken of backyard visitors to her home.
The first photo is a Purple Finch during a snowstorm. The second, a beautiful female Northern Cardinal. And finally, two photos of “Little Red” (named by Jayne) who outsmarted the “squirrel-proof” bird feeder. We are happy to report that after enjoying some seeds, Little Red found his way out and back to his home, likely for a little post-dinner nap.
