NRCM hosted an online expert panel to debrief the Public Utilities Commission’s recent workshop on integrated grid planning.
These workshops are part of an integrated planning process that gives us a chance to take a step back and reimagine how we build and operate the grid to achieve our climate and clean energy goals as affordably and equitably as possible.
Public participation is essential to building a clean, flexible grid that best serves Maine people.
During the expert panel, we shared reactions from the PUC’s recent workshops and discussed next steps. At the event, participants heard from featured speakers:
- Oliver Tully, Acadia Center
- Phelps Turner, Conservation Law Foundation
- Steve Clemmer, Union of Concerned Scientists
- Rebecca Schultz, NRCM
