There are very few people we know who love the mountains of Western Maine more than longtime NRCM member Linda Woods of Winslow, Maine. This week, Linda shares with us some views from Tumbledown Mountain, a great hike near Weld, Maine. There is a pond on top of the mountain and spectacular views all around.
Tumbledown was protected, in part, by the Land for Maine’s Future program, which recently got new funding for the first time in almost a decade. Find more Land for Maine’s Future sites to explore by visiting our Explore Maine Map of public lands in all 16 Maine counties.
