David took this photo last summer at this time and shares, “Janet and I just got back from two days in Deboullie Reserve, staying at Red River Camps. I highly recommend this sporting camp —gourmet meals and respite from the bugs! Close proximity to many trout ponds and 35 miles of hiking trails. This view was taken from Gardener Mountain of Gardener and Deboullie Ponds and Deboullie Mountain. The five-hour drive from Waterville, then paddling two lakes with a portage between to get here was well worth it. You would be hard pressed to find a more remote and beautiful area anywhere.”
