Happy Earth Day!
This week we are sharing some photos taken by NRCM activist Brian Skillings of Windham, Maine. Brian posted these photos on social media and shared them with us after he spent Sunday, April 14 helping NRCM and Green With Envy Salons staff clean up around Back Cove Trail in Portland. Brian writes, “I spent a couple of hours cleaning up around Back Cove Sunday morning with volunteers from Green With Envy Salon through the Natural Resources Council of Maine. I am highlighting some of the straws I alone collected, and there were more than 20 people in attendance, so do the math. Please skip the straw or purchase a reusable one to keep on hand. Straws are not recyclable.”
