“Making the most of the spring-like weather we had around Christmas Day this year, my husband, Chris, my friend, Steve, (home visiting from San Diego for the holiday), and I spent some time enjoying the Maine coast on Saturday, December 26. I took this photo while we visited Portland Head Light and didn’t notice until I got home that the lobster boat had a Christmas tree on the back of it. The weather on Casco Bay looking out at Ram Island Light was spectacular. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky! I was wishing that we would have that weather for this week’s NRCM Dip & Dash, but it sounds like winter will be arriving tomorrow, just in time for an icy cold dip into the Atlantic on Thursday to ring out the old year and ring in the new!” Photo by NRCM member and Public Affairs Coordinator Beth Comeau of Richmond, Maine.
